Decla is, simply a declaration; a culmination of images, sound bites and dreams simmering in Darren Rayl's imagination since his relationship with music began. Much like most creative endeavors in Darren's life, it was born out of necessity, but also restraint–stepping out is risky business. 

As a freelance drummer for nearly 16 years, Darren toured the world with some of the brightest minds and biggest names in music, performing in front of millions of people. In all of that, there was something missing. In the search for exactly what that was, a newer hope introduced itself in the form of songwriting and production. Building a studio from scratch and diving into audio engineering were the initial steps. It wasn't long before he quickly transitioned from touring musician to composer and creator. Many songs later, and years of honing these passions and skills, led to Decla.

To date, Darren has composed tracks for countless shows, brands, and networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Amazon, HBO, MTV, Netflix, and Hulu to name a few. His story is still unfolding, still being written, still waiting, and always hoping.
