Chalk Dinosaur has served as the creative vessel for Pittsburgh native John O’Hallaron since 2007. The 21 album discography spans indie rock, vintage surf and exotica, psychedelic rock, EDM, funk, ambient and jam music. It is defined by its eclecticism and disregard for genre. 

Throughout the years there have been many live iterations of Chalk Dinosaur, and the current incarnation is a four-piece band performing hybrid electronic groove music. In recent years they’ve gotten to play some of their favorite festivals including Electric Forest, Summerdance, and Domefest. The live band features John’s brother Nick O’Hallaron, Andrew Belcastro, and Jon Henderson.
